Platters
I enjoy the freedom and instant gratification of developing new methods of working upside down and backwards. These platters are built with double sided textured slabs over hump molds. Many of these landscape platters were on view for my Senior Show at Alfred University Controlling Crystalline Growth and Opalescence in Glazes. This collaborative exhibition with graphic designer Travis Rimel presented the firing process to the layperson with an illustrated manual and large scale digital prints of test tiles.
